We organise events as a way for people to come together to share ideas, stay informed and find community. Everyone is welcome to attend, and all events are free. Some events are ticketed but only so we can manage numbers.
Our annual climate conference is designed to share progress, spark ideas, and celebrate practical climate action across the borough.
This year, it took place on 8 July 2026 at the Kerith Community Church (14:00 – 20:30)
A friendly, informal get-together for anyone interested in greener living
Every 3rd Thursday of the Month, The Bull, Bracknell (19:00 – 21:00)
Every quarter, BFCCA hosts a Net Zero Hub evening meeting at Bracknell Town Library, where a guest speaker discusses climate change, sustainability, and how we can all make a difference. In the past, we have hosted talks on local biodiversity, sustainable food, and repair cafes. If you are interested in finding out about our next talk, check out our events listing below
This autumn, Bracknell is starting its very own repair café. If you’ve got clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, or toys that need some TLC, our volunteers will help you save them from the waste bin.
The café is located in St Andrews Church in Priestwood on the first Saturday of the month. Find out more, including how to volunteer as a repairer, here
Join BFCCA trustee Sarasswati Ross as she leads the BFCCA Monthly Nature Walk and offers a chance to reconnect with nature.
Our walks take place on the 2nd Sunday of the Month.
Our walks offer an opportunity to • Meet like‑minded people • Talk about sustainability in a relaxed, human way • Share stories and inspiration • Connect with nature and each other • Ease eco‑anxiety by remembering we’re part of Nature, not separate from Her.
Walking outdoors boosts wellbeing, supports grounding, improves circulation and breathing, and helps restore a calmer internal dialogue by increasing serotonin and reducing cortisol. It’s simple, gentle climate action for the soul.
• Water bottle • Comfortable walking shoes • Weather‑appropriate clothing
The walk will go ahead whatever the weather.
