The Biodiversity Crisis

Climate Change is impacting UK wildlife

The UK already has one of the most nature-depleted natural environments in the world, and it is estimated that we only have approximately 50% of its original biodiversity.

The warming planet is exacerbating this stress and impacting our local natural environment. It damages habitats, disrupts seasonal lifecycles and events, and allows pests and diseases to increase, as well as non-native species to thrive.
